RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client is seeking to hire a Wafer Fab Technician in Chandler, Arizona (AZ). This person reports to the Production Supervisor and is based in Chandler, Arizona. You will be working with our Fab operations team and will work Equipment Engineering for innovative semiconductor products.
Responsibilities include:
Wafer Fab Technician will be running qualifications on production equipment
Evaluating qualification data using statistical analysis tools to verify quality
Wafer Fab Technician is running production lots on tools
Troubleshooting when out of control conditions for lots and/or tools occurs and performing OCAP (out of control action plans)
Performing recipe adjustments and other corrective measures for lots and/or tools per engineering instructions
Wafer Fab Technician is performing preventative maintenance (such as standard consumable changes) on various types of manufacturing equipment
Troubleshooting of minor hardware/software issues on tools
Forming/executing plans for continuous improvements on tools or processes within the manufacturing environment
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree in Science or Engineering or a 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor field
Familiarity with AMAT Cantura 5200/5500, Producer, Mira Mesa platforms, Gasonics Asher's, Semi-Tool electroplating, AVP Diffusion, SEZ Cleans, and KLA Metrology equipment is a plus
Ability to deal with multiple issues and shifting priorities
Exhibit good and open communication skills; Able to work within cross-functional teams
Physical Requirements:
Mobility - Must be able to handle long hours on your feet and cover distances within the factory to run all manufacturing equipment in multiple bays
Lifting - Process Technicians must be able to lift 20-25 pounds (weight of lot boxes)
Maintenance Technicians must be able to life 50-75 pounds to perform standard consumable changes and parts replacement
Environment/Safety - Must have situational awareness to work around sensitive equipment and hazardous chemicals and maintain the safety of themselves and others around them
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
