Field Superintendent Position

This individual will be responsible for directing, scheduling, coordinating and completing all aspects of the projects. There will be times this individual will also be asked to attend meetings, provide input on complex estimates, and operate various pieces of equipment. The current location of the job is within 25 miles of Flagstaff, AZ.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Represent our company professionally and communicate with Prime Contractors, other Subcontractors, and our Clients

• Provide a high level of Customer Service

• Hold weekly meetings and schedule subcontractors

• Understand our operations schedule and recognize possible conflicts between multiple projects

• Oversee the execution of work, to ensure that field personnel are scheduled and complete the job within contract/job confines.

• Review and inspect completed job and meet with Director of Field Operations or Project Manager to rectify any concerns

• Maintain daily reports as well as review and verify employee timesheets

• Develop and mentor field personnel

• Have the ability to thoroughly run a job from beginning to end

• Any and all duties as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to operate vehicles and trailers in a safe manner, in compliance with local, state, and federal traffic laws.

• Must be able to work throughout the State of Arizona

• Must be able to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment in a variety of different situations

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• While working the employee might be exposed to various chemicals, vapors, pollutants, gases, uneven

surfaces, loud noises, moving vehicles or machines, and dust/debris. This individual must recognize possible

hazards and implement the proper safety procedures to continue working (cleanup, dust masks, etc.)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full time position. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand

• Must be willing to travel to any and all jobsites (including staying away from home during the week if necessary)

Education and Work Experience (REQUIRED)

• Experience with ADOT, Federal Highways, and/or other public municipalities

• Experience with running multiple jobs from beginning to end

• Minimum of 2 years related experience in heavy civil supervision

• Must have computer skills and the ability to complete administrative tasks daily

*Documentation in multiple systems will be required for this position. Computer skills are a MUST.

• Must have the ability to keep accurate and organized records of the project.

• Must be fluent in English, i.e., must be able to speak, read, and write English

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations

• A current driver’s license with clean driving record.

• Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check is required.

• Safety Supervisor Certification Preferred

• OSHA 30 Hour Preferred

• Pay range: $1,400 - $1,800 / week
