Product Line Engineer

Quintus, Inc. is a contract manufacturer with a proven history in the production of composite products for a variety of applications and industries. The Product Line Engineer position is for a professional who can resolve engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information. The Engineer holds high quality standards and practices. He or she is self-driven with a multi project focus and willing to work with production personnel to meet product realization.

The Product Line Engineer is responsible for:

Developing production methods and processes to manufacture parts that meet contractual design and quality requirements.

Establishing testing procedures that meet quality standards for product production.

Working with existing ERP system to formulate jobs for testing and process verification.

Working closely with customers and potential customers to provide a high-quality product within their specifications.

Maintaining compliance with all company quality policies and procedures.

Participating in all corrective and preventative action (CAPA) efforts and follow up on actions assigned.

Assisting financial analyst with customer request for quotes (RFQ’s)

Using a wide range of software to create modeling, inspection, and production requirements.

Willing to take on other tasks as needed.

Education and Work Requirements

Must have a 4-year degree in Engineering. (Mechanical Engineering preferred)

5 years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Experience with composites manufacturing preferred.

Experience with ISO 13485 and 9001 is preferred.

Other Requirements/recommendations

Excellent computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.

Computer Aided Drafting experience (Solid Works or Master Cam Preferred)

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

In person work required.
