Synergy is a locally-owned, organic and vegan/vegetarian coffee and elixir house, bulk herbs Apothecary and events space. We feature over 40 local vendors including our own CBD and wellness brand, vegan chocolate, locally written books and so much more.
Our team is a heart-centered, growing family of 8 people, currently in need of one or two more part time cashier/kitchen and one or two more baristas to craft our unique beverage menu of over 30 incredibly delicious and healthy drinks.
We are looking for committed, self-motivated, and heart-centered help. The ability to hustle with a smile is a must!
Schedule:
Part time with the potential for growth. Shifts are typically 4 - 6 hours. Must be willing to work weekends, some occasional nights, and occasionally fill in for vacations.
Schedule flexibility is a plus as we always do our best to accommodate every staff member’s schedule desires.
Front of the House Barista Position Responsibilities Include:
Creating and serving a very unique line of healthy, organic, vegan and locally-sourced drinks
Customer service and sales
Stocking drink materials, chocolate case and retail sections (crystals, jewelry, herbal & beauty products) (Knowledge of the herbs, crystals and raw chocolate a plus!)
Keeping equipment clean
Barista drink prep side work
Sales
Occasionally hosting community events - music box and coffee chat social forums
Cashier and Kitchen Position Responsibilities Include:
Creating and serving a unique line of house-made products and food.
Customer service and sales
Stocking drink materials, chocolate case and retail sections
Keeping equipment clean
Washing lounge dishes
Drink prep side work
Occasionally hosting community events - music box and coffee chat social forums
This is NOT a short-term position, as our unique line of organic, vegan drinks requires mixology-level training (which we provide) and practice before proficiency. We all consider that anyone who joins the team becomes a part of our Synergy family. Regular customers love to get to know the staff and we love getting to know our teammates. We ask all staff to stick around long enough to truly become a part of this incredible team and customer base.
Minimum 6 month commitment. 1 year preferred. No short term residents for this position please. Thank you.
Benefits / Pay:
50% off in store during working days
35% off in store during non-working days
Tips paid out daily
Wages depending on experience and productivity PLUS TIPS & COMMISSIONO which is typically $20 hourly+.
First hourly raise given upon training completion and job competency
Continuous wages increases up to $17 per hour ($20-$25 w/ tips and commission) with length of time employed, job performance and knowledge.
Excellent potential to advance to management for a committed, hard working and congenial person
Absolute Musts from You
Be self-motivated and a team player.
Commit to at least 6 months before the training program begins - We do not train short-term residents.
