Executive Chef

Seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team.

As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including food management, specials planning, inventory control, and ensuring high-quality food production. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a strong background in kitchen management.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and direct food preparation and execution to plate

- Create and develop innovative specials each evening

- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including supervising kitchen staff and ensuring efficient workflow

- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen procedures

- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction

- Manage inventory levels and control costs by minimizing waste and optimizing ingredient usage

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation standards

- Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment

- Strong knowledge of food management principles, kitchen operations, and shift management

- Proficient in food service regulations and safety standards

- Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
