We are looking to add new team members to our growing emergency veterinary practice. Our ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, outgoing, and able to deliver high quality care to our patients. We are seeking a Veterinary Technician for both part time and full time who strive to provide compassionate care for our patients. Veterinary experience preferred, but not required. CVT preferred. We are willing to train the right person.

-Compassion for pets and people
-The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and be exposed to hazards associated with pets such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches, and animal waste
Veterinary Technician tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Punctual; willingness to work non-traditional hours, to include on-call, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The ability to stay calm and efficient during a medical crisis
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
-Working closely with doctors and other technicians
-Surgery prep
-Anesthesia monitoring
-Setting catheters
-Taking x-rays
-Cleaning/Laundry
-Client Education
-Will also include answering phones and assisting clients
Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) desirable, but not required
Drug testing and background checks will be performed prior to employment.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule during weeknights, weekends and holidays.
