Job Summary: Housekeeper
Our Housekeepers will support general resort operations by cleaning resort units in the most efficient and effective manner possible, while maintaining the company's expected high quality standards. The Housekeeper will promote Resort Standards and effectively provide services personally or refer requests to the appropriate department manager as needed to exceed guest expectations. This role allows for the ability to earn more income as you become more efficient and effective.
Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Clean resort units to include sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms
Maintain and adhere to housekeeping detail standards.
Clean, vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms, and kitchens.
Make beds
Replenish supplies, such as kitchenware and toiletries.
Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property
Report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
Perform other duties as required by manager
Maintain regular attendance in compliance as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the resort
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag.
Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
Report to Housekeeping Inspector.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
a) Education
High School diploma or equivalent
b) Knowledge and skills
Detail oriented with organizational skills
Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment
Ability to read and comprehend routine instructions, short correspondence and memos
Ability to give high priority to customer service
Must maintain a professional appearance and a Can-Do, positive attitude towards all guests and staff
Must be people oriented and able to work independently or with others as needed
c) Job experience
Six months related housekeeping experience
*Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
*Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, Saturdays required
*Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States
*Wyndham Flagstaff Resort requires the successful completion of a background check prior to employment
