Novakinetics Aerosystems is looking for a part-time or full-time shipping/logistics specialist in Flagstaff, Arizona. You will have an important role on our team, helping us provide on-time shipments of our composite products to our diverse customers, ranging from aerospace to outdoors enthusiasts. Your responsibilities will include inspecting, invoicing, packaging, storing, and shipping of Novakinetics production products. You will ensure all documents are prepared and organized, working with Quickbooks, MS Word, and Excel as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
· Ensure packaging and documentation is completed quickly and accurately
· Complete tasks by following established procedures including AS9100 Quality system requirements
· Assembling small to large cardboard shipping containers
· Material handling may include one or more of the following: picking, packing, kitting, counting products, carrying objects up to 50 lbs., and other similar duties.
We’ll train you in these areas:
· Quality System inspections, and packaging requirements
· Safe forklift operation
· Documentation and invoicing for shipments using Quickbooks, MS Word, and Excel
· Arranging shipments with local and national freight companies
Requirements:
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
· Lift, move, and package objects up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
· Safely handle objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
· Safely handle and manage tools and equipment
· Ability to keep accurate records
· Enjoy a combination of physical and office work
· Interest in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
· Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well
· Must have the ability to work well with others in a team environment with little supervision
· Must be proficient with professional communication via email
Starting pay depends on experience, and will be at least $20.00 per hour. We offer flexible work hours, medical insurance, and a variety of other benefits. This can be roughly 20 hours per week part-time employment, or 40 hours per week full-time employment if you are interested in learning other jobs within our operation.
