Apotheca is hiring 2 part-time sales associates to work in our exquisite herb shop, metaphysical store and community events space in West Sedona. We are a heart-centered Private Membership Association with a mission to foster local economy and provide affordable access to a wide selection of bulk wellness herbs and locally-made products.
Apotheca is the expanded sister store to our well-known coffee and herbal elixir house, Synergy Cafe. The two adjacent shops serve as a community center and strong presence for locals and visitors alike, home to Le Fay Recording Studios, Synergy Communities Non-Profit (DBA of Red Earth Theater Co), Events Space & Private Sessions Rental Rooms & Synergy Kitchen
We are looking for committed, self-motivated, heart-centered help. Sales experience, herb and crystal knowledge, or management experience is a plus, but not required. We are not a medical facility, but we do sell wellness products.
Regular Hours of Operation:
Thurs - Monday 11am - 7pm (closed Tues/Wed)
Sunday 12pm - 7pm
Occasional Event Hours -
Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday nights
Part time with potential to advance to management. (2-4 days per week 1/2 days with occasional 8 hour days.)
Schedule flexibility/ ability to occasionally swap/cover for vacations & sick days is a big plus.
Responsibilities Include:
Sales & customer care (bulk herbs, capsules, tinctures, crystals, wellness & personal care products)
Book private sessions & events room rentals.
Answer phone and emails.
Prepare online and phone orders for shipping department.
Pricing & stocking retail displays. (bulk section, products, crystals & jewelry)
Cleanliness and orderliness of customer & work areas (Dusting, sweeping, mopping as needed, etc) (Organizing work-related documents, back-stock of inventory and supplies)
Communication with team and management (shared projects, business details, customer service, healing room rentals, etc)
Optional participation in Synergy Communities NonProfit, pay is project-based.
Length of Employment
Minimum 6 month commitment. No short term residents for this position please. Raises given regularly, the longer you stay the greater the value & compensation. We are looking for people who will be happy, productive and plan to stick around long enough to become a part of this community.

50% off employee discount in store during working days
35% off in store during non-working days
Discounts on use of event space & private sessions room
Wages $16 - $20 hourly plus (Paid training w/ immediate raise given upon completion of training) Wage increase with length of time employed, job performance and knowledge at 1 month, 2 month, 3 month, 6 month, 1 year.
Pooled Commission 1-4% includes online sales, Synergy sales and Apotheca sales.
Plus project-based salaries such as social media, tbd based on aptitude.
Excellent potential to advance to management for higher pay and profit percentage in a quickly growing company for the right committed, hard working and congenial person.
Absolute Musts from You
Be self-motivated and a team player/ good communicator.
Commit to at least 6 months- We do not train short-term residents.
