Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyewear, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring accurate prescription orders. Duties - Assist customers in selecting frames that complement their appearance and meet their prescription needs - Take precise measurements to ensure correct fit and comfort of eyeglasses - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance - Process orders accurately and efficiently - Maintain inventory of frames and other optical supplies Skills - Proficiency in optical laboratory work - Knowledge of medical billing related to vision care services - Strong sales skills to recommend appropriate eyewear products - Familiarity with senior care and pediatric vision needs - Understanding of retail math for pricing and discounts - Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems - Knowledge of medical coding and terminology for vision-related services
