We are seeking a Video Editor & Social Media Manager to handle video editing, content posting, and media management across multiple platforms. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, creativity, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in video production, social media content creation, and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit video content for YouTube and social media platforms
Film content during scheduled filming trips (2-3 times per month in Sedona or Phoenix area)
Manage and schedule social media posts across various platforms
Create engaging thumbnails, titles, and descriptions optimized for SEO
Monitor performance analytics and provide reports on content engagement
Apply feedback to improve content quality and audience engagement
Maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure timely content delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
Experience with social media management (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
Knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) for thumbnail creation
Familiarity with SEO strategies for social media (hashtags, keywords, descriptions)
Ability to operate professional and smartphone cameras for video production
Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills and ability to incorporate feedback effectively
Passion for wellness, mindfulness, and personal development content is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with editing tools (ex. Premier Pro, CapCut)
Drone videography or photography skills
Copywriting experience for social media captions and descriptions
Background in wellness, health, or mindfulness-related content creation
Work Schedule & Location:
This is a remote position with 2-3 scheduled filming trips per month in the Sedona or Phoenix area
Flexible working hours with deadlines based on content production schedules
Compensation:
Hourly rate: $20-30/hour (negotiable based on experience and skill level)
Travel expenses for filming trips may be covered based on agreement
