Typically work hours of 6-12 hours per day, 6-7 days per week in extreme hot and cold environments
Work hour shifts may rotate each day (e.g. Day #1 5:30 am to 1:30 pm, Day #2 1:30 pm to 8 pm)
Living arrangements to be paid for by company if employee is more than 1.5 hours from their home address.
Physical labor at construction sites which are often in remote locations.
Load, unload, and stage tools and supplies on steep/difficult terrain for crews working along the Right-of-way.
Monitor tree clearing work areas for possible fires by watching with binoculars and/or driving around in UTV.
Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
Dig trenches, or compact and level earth using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes.
