Imagine yourself in an outdoor job you love! Apply and train by February 2026.
No experience necessary. Canyon Dave Tours, Inc. has a seasonal job for a tour guide with knowledge of geology, biology, outdoor education, or similar. Must be 25 years old. The jobs are from March 15 through October. You will work half or full time (your choice), usually including Saturday and Sunday. Pay is $1,000 per month salary plus $175 per tour plus tips—you may expect average tips of $50-$100 per tour plus free lunch. Candidates must have successfully completed one semester of science.
You will drive a tour van and guests for your 10-hour tour from Flagstaff to South Rim viewpoints. You will give your guests information on Grand Canyon’s geology, botany, wildlife, history, and Native Americans. We will teach you what you need to know.
MUSTS
Candidates will be rejected if deficient in any one of these:
1. Current driver license (CDL not needed).
2. 25 years old or more by March 2026.
3. Clean driving record.
4. Clear voice and pronunciation.
5. Natural science coursework: geology, biology, etc.
PREFERENCES—the more you have the better:
1. Knowledge of Grand Canyon National Park.
2. Fun-loving and intelligent.
3. Experience driving a larger vehicle.
4. Additional courses or degree in geology or natural science.
5. Non-smoking.
6. Good academic record.
7. Nice professional demeanor.
