With a career in application development, you’ll make the end user’s experience your priority and we’ll make your career growth ours.HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT● Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems● Securing operating systems and applications, including mobile platforms within a multi-platform environment, including work with Microsoft Windows and Linux-based operating systems.●Performs system/network administration, including knowledge of mobile operating systems and Linux operating systems● Coordinate, review and maintain system documentation● You will also participate in the development Enterprise Technical Procedures (ETPs) with the directions to apply patches, upgrades and security configurations and/or updates to the baseline system for testing IAW with the STIGs.● Participates in special projects as required.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience● Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of Windows and Linux Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and current DISA’s hardening protocol.● Security Clearance Level: Secret.● Required Skills and Abilities: Experienced in operating systems analysis, integrations, and documentation.● Preferred Skills: System/network administration, including knowledge of mobile operating systems and Linux operating systems.● Location: On Customer Site.GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:● 401K with company match.● Comprehensive health and wellness packages.● Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career.● Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications.● Cutting-edge technology you can learn from.● Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays!The likely salary range for this position is $80,226 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
