The ideal candidate should have a strong background in facility operations, maintenance, and team leadership. This role involves ensuring the smooth functioning of our facilities, coordinating maintenance efforts, and implementing strategies for improved performance Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily operations of assigned area, prioritizes activities, and ensures quality maintenance.
Monitors, enters, and maintains data in information management systems.
Supervises staff to include: prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff is trained; ensuring that employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a safe working environment; and, making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations.
Identifies Capital Improvement Project needs in the parks division.
Identifies, responds to, and resolves complex issues and concerns from customers on items related to policies, procedures, or safety issues.
Participates in the development and implementation of the Facilities divisional operations budget.
Monitors and maintains inventory of supplies and materials. Inspects and maintains equipment.
Initiates, reviews, and/or approves requisitions and invoices for payment.
About YouThe ideal candidate for this position has skill in developing and managing operational processes that include developing and analyzing budgets and cost projections. A high level of customer service and development of Facilities Management processes, policies, SOPs, and other tools in order to improve transparency and efficiency are needed. Knowledge of service provision, quality control, custodial and landscaping standards is needed. Lastly, knowledge of KPIs, data, work order systems associated with facilities management. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Business, Parks & Recreation, Public Administration, Agriculture, or related field experience.
Five years of experience working in parks maintenance.
Three years of lead or supervisory experience.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training
