Specifically, the individual in this role will assist with the administration of US, Mexico and Costa Rica Benefits. The Lead Benefits Specialist will be responsible for supporting the administration of the Deloitte benefit plans with a focus on day-to-day plan management, acquisition support, and compliance reporting. Responsibilities of this role include:

Coordinate with benefits broker/consultant and vendors on insurance proposals, renewals, plan design changes, and ad-hoc requests

Evaluate and compare existing benefits programs with those of other employers through analysis of other plans, survey data, and additional sources of information

Partner closely with Communications Team to develop, update, and deliver benefits communications

Research and prepare reports, communications and presentations for management using statistical and narrative data

Assist with the implementation of new plans, programs, and changes to plans and/or administrative procedures including preparation of plan summary documents in partnership with Legal/OGC

Handle participant escalations and assist with complex inquiries regarding provisions of existing/new benefits, policies, and processes

Participate in special projects related to technology and workforce transformations as they impact RRWB as well as others as requested by RRWB leaders

The individual selected for this role must have a basic knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and SECTION 125. Individual must have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion, work in a virtual team environment with a client service focus. Role may require up to 20% travel, when appropriate.

The teamQualificationsRequired:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of related experience

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Experience and strong proficiency in MS-Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of HRIS systems and data transmission

Preferred:

Fluency in English and Spanish

Experience working in a rapidly evolving, highly matrixed organization

Knowledge of Web Employee Self-Service applications

Knowledge of Latin American (LATAM) benefits environment

Analytical skills and ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple deadlines

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,400 to $148,000.
