DescriptionRequirementsRobert Half is currently seeking an A/R Specialist for a temp to hire position with a Non-emergency Medical Transportation service. Candidate should be highly organized with superior attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple entities in the Southwest. Prepare, verify, and process high volume of daily invoices Work with the dispatchers and drivers as needed to ensure timely and accurate invoicing. Prepare and apply cash and credit card receipts, making sure all cash receipts are applied properly. Assist with timely collection of monies due to multiple entities. Assist with weekly and monthly reporting of invoicing totals/aging totals/cash receipts/invoice adjustments, etc. for multiple entities. Assist with resolving customer disputes as they arise. Review and check for errors in the A/R process. Cross-train with others in dept. to serve as backup as needed. Assist with other projects as needed. High School diploma 2+ years of A/R experience. Strong computer skills including 10-key by touch, Outlook, Word. Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets. Knowledge of Quickbooks and Great Plains or similar software is a plus. Able to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately. Capable of working independently and in a team environment. Customer service background a strong plus.
