DescriptionThe Coordinator in the Office of Experiential Education (OEE) assists with the onboarding process for student credentialing, ensuring all site-specific requirements are met in a timely fashion. Additionally, the Coordinator assists in the placement of students in local and out-of-state rotations. Responsibilities include establishing relationships with students and preceptors to meet their rotation preferences and needs. The Coordinator educates students on the rotation manual and assures compliance with policies and requirements. This position is responsible for grade submission for all introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences. This position also establishes and tracks the legal affiliation agreements, which allow student placements throughout the nation. The individual will also coordinate various office needs, such as honorarium processing, quality assurance monitoring, CPR and LawRoom training. The position reports to the Director of Experiential Education.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides general office support to the OEE.

Manage site-specific requirements, such as corporate compliance modules, My Clinical Exchange, drug screens, forms/paperwork specific to sites, etc.

Manage the grade submission process.

Assist in the management of rotation scheduling, cancellations, etc.

Assist in the maintenance of preceptor, student, site, site visit, and evaluation database in RMS platform, assisting in the troubleshooting as needed

Identify students and preceptors who may require special intervention by OEE. Identify trends and suggest recommendations for training and other resources necessary for student, preceptor, and site development.

Establishment and tracking of affiliation agreements and preceptor documentation.

Participate in training, orienting, and onboarding of preceptors and sites.

Consult and advise students regarding OEE policies and procedures, rotation and preceptor availability, pending site-specific requirements.

Contribute to the development of rotation manuals for sites and preceptors.

Engage prospective preceptors in order to establish new and unique opportunities for students.

Assist in the development of student and preceptor webinars/ presentations.

Prepare and edit correspondence in a public relations capacity.

Assist with interviewing work study candidates

Assist in the preparation and documentation of honoraria checks to sites.

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university preferred. 5-7 years of relevant work experience required. Must have experience in quality improvement and/or curricular design. Experience in Public Relations, Group Facilitation, health professions, or administration is desired.Computer Skills Computer proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point is required.Language Skills Intermediate skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Reasoning Ability Intermediate skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Mathematical AbilityBasic skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.
