The future is what you make it.When you join Honeywell, you become a member of our global team of thinkers, innovators, dreamers and doers who make the things that make the future.That means changing the way we fly, fueling jets in an eco-friendly way, keeping buildings intelligent and safe and even making it possible to breathe on MarsAre you ready to help us make the future?As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer within Honeywell Space Engineering, you will be part of a team developing the Carbon Dioxide Removal by Ionic Liquid System (CDRILS), an astronaut life support system for spacecraft, as well as other technologies that make it possible to live and breathe in space.In this role, you will support the design, build and test of the Carbon Dioxide Removal by Ionic Liquid System (CDRILS) for space and terrestrial applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple teams to develop CDRILs systems for their unique application. Key Responsibilities

Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CDRILS and other ECLSS programs

Drive technical team(s) to solve key technical problems with workable solutions in a defined period of time

Support proposals and technology roadmaps

U.S. CITIZEN REQUIREMENTSMust be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements. YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

6+ years’ experience in Engineering

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

Strong understanding of spacecraft technologies, specifically CDRILS, ECLSS or related systems.

Experience designing, building and testing complex systems
