Human Resources Coordinator

Our client, a major distribution site, is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their team in Goodyear, AZ. As an HR Coordinator, you will be part of the HR team assisting various associates and managers with HR related questions and tasks. The ideal candidate will have communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.  Pay: $30.00/hr.Shift: Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 6:00pmContract to Hire Job Opportunity! What’s the Job? 

Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related queries from associates and managers during office hours.

Submit and manage Zendesk tickets to address scheduling issues, missed punches, and attendance policy points. Answer and reroute tickets as necessary.

Handle the Voluntary Extra Hours process efficiently.

Collaborate with the HR Department Management team to conduct interventions, fact-findings and resolve conflicts as they arise.

Provide payroll support and perform data entry responsibilities to ensure timekeeping accuracy and reporting.

Assist HR leadership in administration procedures and policies throughout the Distribution Center.

What’s Needed? 

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within food manufacturing/production, e-Commerce, or a start-up environment

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience. SHRM/PHR certification preferred.

Working knowledge of payroll and timekeeping practices. Familiarity with employee relations, diversity, and employment laws.

Experience with WorkDay is a plus, but trainable!
