The surgery coordinator is to complete health insurance and financial clearance activities prior to the patients arrival to the facility to expedite and enhance the patient experience. The Surgery Registration Coordinator's functions are to pre-register patients for their surgical procedures by verifying eligibility/benefits, pre-certification, and financial clearance including pre-visit collection. The Surgery Registration Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the most accurate patient data through their attention to detail and knowledge of insurance carriers, Medicare guidelines as well as state and accredited agencies. Reports to: Centralized Scheduling ManagerFLSA: Non-exempt Minimum Qualifications:Minimum Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
