Job Title: International Shipping ClerkJob DescriptionThe International Shipping Clerk will be responsible for processing and handling international shipments. Receive merchandise from customers or shipping carriers, inspect items for damage and verify their condition. Communicate with customers and logistics coordinators regarding authorizations, status updates, and any issues with items. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving shipping-related problems promptly. Maintain detailed records of returned items, including reasons for returns, condition of items, and actions taken. Ensure all transactions are accurately entered into the inventory management system. Work closely with the inventory, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure items are processed and stocked or shipped as appropriate. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure proper credit or refunds are issued to customers. Inspect and test returned items to determine if they meet quality standards for sale or shipment. Ensure all shipments are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures. Stay updated on foreign import policies and industry best practices. Generate reports on shipping trends, and other relevant metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis. Effectively provide shipment status.Hard Skills
