Established general contractor located in Fort Mohave, AZ looking for experienced estimator. We perform mostly commercial construction ground up and tenant improvements with some custom residential construction.
Responsibilities:
Able to analyze blueprints, specifications, and other related documentation to prepare detailed estimates.
Able to work with vendors and subcontractors to determine scope of work, obtain bids, and negotiate pricing.
Able to work with owners, architects, and engineers to answer questions necessary during bidding process.
Able to estimate multiple projects at the same time.
Must be very computer literate, have good communication skills, and have attention to detail.
Public works experience a plus.
Ideal candidate should have a minimum 5 years experience of estimating general construction.
This may be a full-time or part-time position depending on candidate.
Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
