Job Position: Medical Assistant
AIMS Medical Center is a state licensed multidiscipline medical facility which takes pride in providing the best service to our patients of Mohave County, AZ and the surrounding Tri-State region as well as the Colorado River Valley and surrounding cities. We have now been established in the humble town of Kingman, AZ for our 30th year We are expanding our services, and as such are seeking to fill multiple positions for Certified Registered Medical Assistants to become a part of our Patient Care Team to work closely with patients Candidate will assist in performing routine medical procedures and treatments, clinical testing, medication administration, and administrative assignments to be part of the patient’s medical care of patients, and keeping the patient visits flowing smoothly throughout the day. Candidate must be able to work as part of a diverse and experienced multidisciplinary care team as a collaborative team player and be willing to assist in both front and back office in multiple departments as required. Ability to maintain attention to detail to accomplish multiple required priorities and tasks.
Candidate should be compassionate and ethical, be an energetic individual who must have a commitment to excellence and upholding higher standards while working within an established medical practice where one is able to achieve common goals to grow and thrive; resulting in merit and productivity-based advancement in a position as well as compensation within AIMS Medical Center to work with our ever diverse and expanding patient base, thus allowing for a significant expansion of services, especially considering the addition of a state of the art Cardiac Catheter Lab and a complete Radiology and Imaging department to supplement the already established Urgent Care, Primary Care, and Outpatient Ambulatory Surgical Center. The ideal candidate is reliable, can maintain a high performance level of quality customer service and support while maintaining excellent interpersonal skills; is a great communicator and active listener; kind and courteous to their coworkers and patient base; be willing to learn and has an interest in advancing their knowledge base and gaining more experience in a working medical environment; is very familiar with disease management programs; is willing to be an advocate for their patients; preferably has significant previous medical office in person; hands on treatment where they provided compassionate care; able to thrive under pressure with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Certified Registered Medical Assistant are preferred, but all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. Radiology Technicians as well as Phlebotomists may be utilized in the capacity of a Medical Assistant with minor amounts of training, and are encouraged to apply.
We will be reviewing qualified applicants resumes, applications, letters of recommendations and following up with references in an ongoing basis. Based on the results of each review applicants with be requested to come in for an interview along with other required screenings. Qualified applicants to the AIMS Medical Center will be called back in, at which point we would eventually discuss viable placement with selected applicants regarding potential employment options, including availability for a mandatory orientation.

Position: Medical Assistant
Departments: Urgent Care & Primary Care & Outpatient Surgery & Cardiac Lab
Schedule: Full Time, Part Time, Per Diem
Shift: Week Days M-F, as assigned
Hours: Between 8am to 5pm, as assigned
Lunch: 30 minutes, paid
Compensation: Salary with incentives is depending on certifications, accolades, education, qualifications, experience, references, and character
Preferred Applicant Qualifications:
Licensure: Certified Medical Assistant Diploma. Registered with State of Arizona is most preferred
Some alternative acceptable examples include either the American Association of Medical Assistants or the American Medical Technologists; and “Grandfathered” Arizona Medical Assistants will be considered.
Certifications: Please be prepared to provide proof of all current and active certifications which you have. Examples include, but are not limited to First Aid, BLS, CPR, etc.
Public Care Security Clearance: Be prepared to pass pre-employment background checks, submit a physical from your primary care, & submit to a drug screen prior to the first day of employment. Be prepared to submit your current immunizations records including TB and Hepatitis. Must have the ability to obtain a Fingerprint ID Card in the State of Arizona.
Previous Experience in healthcare or other related medical fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience:
- Surgery Department: 4-5 Years in an outpatient ambulatory surgical setting
- Cardiac Catheter Lab: 4-5 Years in an office based lab setting
- Primary Care Department: 2-3 Years in a clinical health care setting
- Urgent Care Department: 3-4 Years in an outpatient treatment center setting
- Radiology Department: 3-4 Years in an imaging center setting
References or Letters of Recommendation: Please be able to provide two professional performance letters, and one personal character letter.
