Description Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on an interim basis with one of our educational companies. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial information to predict future trends and provide guidance for the continual improvement of organizational programs to increase profitability and maximize efficient use of company resources. Your overall contribution to the organization will be to provide strategic support to leadership by providing insights for optimal decision making. Responsibilities: Assist in due diligence and modeling of potential acquisition targets to determine stand-alone and consolidated financial impact. Update and automate processes using Adaptive Planning and expand the use of Power BI to drive deeper insights, be a key person building out and improve efficiencies of the reporting function. Participate in the continual development and improvement of the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling process; create and maintain reporting, dashboards, and scorecards to monitor KPIs and performance indicators; develop new financial models to support strategic initiatives. Continually monitor the changing environment and financial indicators to provide data-supported recommendations and feedback for management decision making. Support leadership and department heads with in-depth analysis, providing ad hoc reporting as needed; Assist in preparation of presentations to the Board of Directors and Management Team.Requirements 2-4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) or very similar role. BS in Finance or related field. Minimum 1 year experience Adaptive Planning or other EPM experience. Prior experience working 100% remote. Intellectual curiosity with a drive to learn new and improve current skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Advanced Power BI skills and experience. Analytical approach to problem solving, with a keen eye for detail. Excellence in organization, with an ability to handle competing priorities well.
