Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments - Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
-Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts - Ensure compliance with IRS
- Support payroll accounting processes and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of financial management systems - Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in accounting
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience) - Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role - Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles - Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms - Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team .
