Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to oversee and manage various construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, hardscape, tenant improvements, remodels, and masonry. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HOA regulations, commercial building operations, and general contracting practices. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning through execution and completion.
Coordinate and manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical, remodeling, hardscape, masonry, and tenant improvement projects.
Collaborate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and HOA guidelines.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure project quality and adherence to specifications.
Track and manage project costs to ensure profitability.
Provide regular progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
Foster and maintain positive relationships with HOA and commercial property managers.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction and HOA industry, preferably with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general contracting.
Strong knowledge of HOA regulations, commercial property management, and construction defect repairs.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project demands.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
