Summary:

The RESEARCH ANALYST is responsible for collecting and analyzing data from sources/web searches, and performing quality assurance checks on that information. This position entails close communication with software development teams and also other stakeholders within processes. The Research Analysts' additional responsibilities are maintaining daily processes by collaborating with Database Administrator, resolve ad hoc issues related to processes/products. She/he will be able to work well under pressure; be detail-oriented, organized and an effective communicator. A detailed training schedule will be in place to onboard selected candidate.

Ability to solve problems

Detail-oriented with analytical abilities, documentation skills, and a commitment to accuracy

Excellent communication skills.

Strong Excel and Internet research skills are required

Database/ SQL knowledge is a plus

The ability to work successfully as part of a team, is key

Must be motivated and possess a strong work ethic

Self management skills, including the ability to identify goals, define tasks and develop and adhere to timelines is a must

Ability to follow detailed processes and procedures

Essential Functions:

Works under minimal general supervision, however must be able to take direction.

Effective time management, communication and organizational skills are required.

Must be analytical, meticulous, and have a high attention to detail

Consultant orientation and personality.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree and 2 years work experience

Other equivalent combination of education & experience will be considered

Education can be in any of these areas: Finance, Computer Science, Information Management, Business, Economics or Accounting

1-2 years experience in market research, survey and/or analysis

Understanding of Stocks, Mutual Funds and Corporate action.

Advanced proficiency in Excel/Spreadsheet

Experienced in documenting processes

Client facing experience is a plus
