Remote Worker - Account Representative

State Farm Agent Jake Stewart is hiring! Stewart Agents have represented State Farm in San Francisco for over 70 years. State Farm Insurance has more auto and fire insurance policies on the books than any other insurer in the United States.

We are currently have an opening for a remote Customer Service Representative who will help us provide world class customer service to our policyholders. Key responsibilities will include:

- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction

- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer e-mails in a professional and timely manner

- Assist customers with product selection and provide information about product features and benefits

- Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues to the best of your ability

- Maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and products to effectively assist customers

- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

- Handle billing inquiries, claims conversations and other policy questions, as they arise.

Account Representative Requirements:

- Have the highest level of integrity

- Be an exceptional people person who communicates easily and naturally

- Have the ability to take initiative and drive results

- Have the ability to work well with a team and multiple personality types

- Be a great problem solver - one who sees opportunities, and not just problems

- Insurance experience strongly desired.

- Active Property and Casualty Insurance license strongly desired

- Have an employment track record that shows stability, NOT job hopping. It is not a good investment for us to invest in those who have not shown prior commitment to their previous employers.
