Self-Storage Facility is looking for a motivated and dependable person to fill a full-time resident manager position in the East Mesa area. Storage experience preferred, but not required.
Job duties include the showing, renting, and vacating of storage units, greeting customers, answering phones for rental inquiries and making delinquency phone calls. Includes all aspects of running an office including, but not limited to the use of a computer software program, responding to Internet inquiries in a professional manner, communicating with the corporate office, making decisions, following lien procedures (must be detailed oriented) and the printing/interpreting of reports.
In addition to office related work, responsibilities include being able to work both inside and outside doing maintenance work (i.e. cleaning of units, picking up trash and debris, sweeping hallways and grounds, repair issues, working on doors, painting, etc.) Other duties as assigned.
Our ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well with the public. Possess good time management skills and have the ability to solve problems in a courteous and timely manner. Must have knowledge of computers, sales, communicate well on the phone, and enjoy working with people. Ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Must be able to pass a complete background check, have a valid U.S. Driver's License and a bank account for payroll direct deposit.
Compensation includes use of an onsite company provided apartment, with utilities, monthly bonus based on performance of the site. Use of apartment is a requirement of position.
