Self Storage Company is looking to fill several full and part-time positions. Positions are available in the East Mesa area and West Central Phoenix.

Key Essential Functions and Area of Responsibilities
Responsible for the sales, marketing, occupancy, and delinquency management of the property.
Provide outstanding customer service, including assessing and resolving customer issues and professionally handling telephone and walk-in inquiries.
Rents and cleans self-storage units as well as actively selling and maintaining moving and packing supplies.
General management of the office, including but not limited to opening and closing the office on time each day, keeping and balancing petty cash, making bank deposits per company policy and preparing and submitting reports as required.
Keeping property rented at optimum occupancy levels by effectively utilizing advertising, marketing, promotional items and customer relation skills as company policy allows.
Controls delinquencies through phone calls, emails, and letters as per company policy.
Cleans spaces, hallways, grounds, offices, and bathrooms as needed.
Maintains a clean, neat, and secure property, including minor maintenance and daily lock checks and inspection of the property.
Other responsibilities as assigned and per company policy.
The ideal applicant will possess:
A calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events, and who is also able to stay busy at times when traffic and business is slow.
Be a self-starter with a positive can do attitude who can work under little to no supervision.
Sales, Marketing and Customer service experience. Prior Storage experience a plus but not required.
The ability to drive the implementation of company programs by developing action plans to meet operational and organizational objectives.
Ability to review the store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns and, opportunities for improvement.
The right candidate will be able to utilize management information tools and analyze financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance.
You must be able to lift (up to 75lbs), carry, bend, stoop, push a broom, etc. Part of each day may be spent outdoors maintaining the property using necessary tools it takes to clean storage units, the bathrooms, the office, and the grounds of the property using the necessary tools.
You must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and good driving record in order to go marketing, make bank deposits and post office runs regularly.

Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Bilingual is preferred but not required.
We have found that prior candidates with a background in retail sales, and apartment leasing excel at this position.
Some sites are open 7 days a week and weekend work may be required. Full-time managers may be required to live onsite in a company provided apartment w/utilities. Part-Time positions may be up to 25-28 hours per week.
