An Arizona camp non-profit operator (three uniquely branded residential camp properties) is looking to hire new team members. One position is Outdoor Education Director with an emphasis on coordinating our Outdoor STEM Centered Education (OSCE) Program at one of our sites Tonto Creek Camp (TCC). This program is unique and one of only in the nation and has support from Arizona State University. Last year 80 schools and 5,000 participated in OSCE at TCC. In addition to the OSCE focus, the with the addition of ASUs official football team camp turf field; the property has a rapidly growing market with high school and club sports teams.
This position will structure and coordinate sports programs, summer programs and frequently act as TCCs camp host.
Background in education (especially outdoor ed.) and teaching. Curriculum development preferred but not required. Proof of responsiveness and customer service is will be required for the successful candidate. Housing is provided and competitive salary.
