You'll be a master at planning engaging activities, guiding their focus with gentle redirection, and using respectful conflict resolution to build strong character and communication skills. JOB TASKS:

-Supervise and engage with our children during playtime, meals, and homeschooling hours.

-Assist in planning activities for the daily schedule. Activities may include library time, art activities, learning time, free play, outdoor and pool time.

-Execute learning activities for education goals based on each child’s current level.

-Help with tidying up play areas and resetting the child environment for the following day.

-Ensure the safety and well-being of our children at all times.

-Assist in planning activities for the daily schedule. Create kid’s activity schedule based on our prompts and calendar.

REQUIREMENTS:

-3 years or more of experience teaching in a licensed childcare or public pre-kindergarten setting

-Associate's degree or higher in early childhood education, child development, or an equivalent college degree in childhood education, child development, or infant/toddler development

-Ability to stand, sit on the floor, be indoors/outdoors for extended periods, and can lift up to 40 pounds

-You can manage 2 children at one time and properly re-direct attention when needed.

-You know how to swim and are comfortable swimming and supervising other children in the pool.

-You have a valid Driver’s license.

-Have reliable transportation to our location (Cave Creek, AZ)

-You are ok with transporting the children to the library, or field trip activities.

-Able to pass required background checks
