Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to support our process documentation and improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on, temporary internship based in our Phoenix, AZ facility, ideal for a current engineering student seeking practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop clear and concise work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Create visual aids to support process understanding and compliance.
- Document current manufacturing or operational processes accurately.
- Identify and implement improvements to existing processes and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to gather accurate technical input.
- Ensure all documentation is bilingual (English and Spanish) and accessible to relevant team members.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an engineering program (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar field preferred).
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish – both written and spoken – is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with technical documentation tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule and Duration:
- Temporary position, typically aligned with a school term (summer or semester-based).
- Flexible hours, ideally 20–40 hours per week depending on availability.
