General Metal Construction is a company specializing in Ornamental and structural steel projects. Our goal is to deliver top-notch services that exceed client expectations. We are seeking a Structural Steel Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. We're also interested in hiring more welders! We expect our welders to read the detailed plans handed in order to fabricate correctly and install out in the field.
Welder:
It's a direct hire, full time position! The amount you are paid is determined on your experience and abilities. We are seeking a motivated and skilled welder to become a part of our creative team. The ideal applicant will have substantial experience in steel fabrication and erection, as well as a demonstrated experience from the shop to being out in the field.
Project Manager:
We're looking for a highly driven and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal applicant will have extensive experience in steel fabrication and erection, as well as a demonstrated track record of effectively managing large-scale projects from start to finish. The Project Manager will be in charge of overseeing all areas of project execution, ensuring that projects are finished safely, on time, and under budget while maintaining the highest levels of quality.
The key responsibilities for a project manager are planning and coordinating Kickoff meetings as soon as the project is awarded to facilitate the pass of information from Estimating to the rest of the Production Team. We expect a Job Folder to be created and ensure that all information from Estimating is combined and stored in the correct directories. As a team we will oversee all shop releases for fabrication, ensuring the shop is receiving accurate phasing to maintain a smooth shop flow and that the steel needed on-site first is purchased and fabricated in that manner. You will also assist the office administrator purchase all Field Bolts & Hardware required on a project, ensuring conformance to Contract Documents. We expect you to ensure all projects are completed on Schedule & within Budget.
Requirements
- Bilingual- Having experience in speaking English and Spanish are the essentials within our company.
-Experience- We do require some experience in both areas
-Identification- Preferably a driver license and state ID
