We’ve built our team of top professionals by rewarding their accomplishments and ensuring they have what's needed to succeed.The Consumer Control Monitoring and Surveillance Analytics team is responsible for independently overseeing Consent Risk activities within Consumer Banking. The incumbent will leverage system, data, programming and analytic skills to develop key strategies to insure consent is correctly captured as required; as well as, creating alerts when there may be an issue. Additional deliverables include providing process and data expertise for audit engagements, reporting, source system re-engineering and ad hoc analysis.Responsibilities include:

Identify and implement a data-driven, consistent process of surveillance and supervision for branch activities, with a particular emphasis on consent, process and fraud.

Collaborate with senior leaders and/or peers to develop robust actionable metrics and reporting to monitor consent.

Leverage advanced data analytics and machine learning techniques to identify risk patterns and trends and provide insights on the effectiveness of Branch Supervision and Oversight programs and processes.

Leverage both structured and unstructured data and “Big Data” analytic tools and platforms to provide insight into risk trends and help improve risk and monitoring processes.

Partner closely with leaders across Community Banking to identify and optimize the ongoing risk analysis and reporting necessary to support first line accountability for consent and other key risk issues.

Lead efforts in collaboration with First Line and Second Line of Defense groups to research, identify and implement work flow and real-time alerts capabilities.

Leverage data and analytics to inform and influence line of business strategic planning team in long term plan development around sales supervision.

Partner closely with other Community Bank Risk Management teams to support Branch Quality Reviews, Compliance Reviews and other activities providing data analytics as required.

Responsible for all aspects of rolling out detection and monitoring strategies across 6,000 branches, including but not limited to project management, requirements gathering, development, testing and implementation

Preferred location:11601 N Black Canyon Hwy, Phoenix, AZ. Will consider other Wells Fargo footprint locationsRequired Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
