AZ RN License Required BSN Required; Master's Preferred Minimum 1-2 Years of Supervisory/Leadership Experience Required Strong Leadership and Communication Skills Required Integrated Care Outpatient Only Schedule: 5 - 8's, Monday-Friday Offering an EXCELLENT SALARY: $98K-$103K (depending on experience) STARTING BONUS: $3000 New Hires Only Full Benefits Package including 401K GENEROUS PTO/Sick policy (4+ weeks in Year 1) PLUS 1 Floating Holiday The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to maintain the quality of nursing and medical assistant scope of practice; for coordinating training program for the medical assistants; for identifying areas of opportunity using data and fostering a supportive work environment. Duties/Responsibilities Include:

R esponsible to support the provision of integrated health patient care services provided by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the integrated health care team.

Contributes to the ongoing development and success of the nursing department.

Ensures proper supervision and clinical training of all integrated medical assistants (MA) and On-Call Registered Nurses (RN) to maintain competency in their positions

Ensures care management of high-risk patients is completed using appropriate medical and support services with the Lead RNs. Assists with staffing high needs cases as needed.

Responsible for medication management, ordering and storage. Oversees the Vaccine Management Program (Vaccine for Children’s, COVID, Annual Flu) with the Lead RNs.

Monitors the operations of the integrated medical assistants and ensures compliance with regulations and within the MA scope of practice

Acts as a champion for the utilization of dashboards, reports and other quality measures by the integrated medical assistants

Identifies areas of risk within the nursing practice and integrated MA practice and ensures timely communication with the DON to ensure appropriate actions are implemented

Possess strong leadership and communication skills

Assists the DON with Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), Uniform Data Systems (UDS), Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and other applicable external agencies requirements to drive achievements

Assists with implementing population health strategies into practice with a focus on the integrated MA role.

Assists with supporting programs including, but not limited to Mobile Health, MAT, Justice and HIV as requested by the DON

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in nursing preferred or other related field (i.e. MSN/MBA/MHA).

Valid and current Registered Nursing license in the state of Arizona

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a leadership/supervisory position

Leadership experience in an FQHC, Integrated Care organization preferred

Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy

Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.

Must have an active CPR/BLS Card within 30 days of assuming role

Must pass a Drug Screen & TB Test.

Travel is required to all sites to where the integrated MA, RN, or LPN provide care
