Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our key client's North America DC lease delivery program for hyperscale data center developments, reporting to the Data Center Lease Preconstruction - Senior Project Manager. As an Assistant Project Manager you will support the lease-to-construction handoff process by maintaining trackers, coordinating documentation, and helping drive open items to closure across a portfolio of data center sites. You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager to execute the day-to-day mechanics of project governance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination, while building toward ownership of your own site or workstream over time. You will embody Turner & Townsend's commitment to excellence while helping deliver best-in-class consulting services to leading developers, investors, and hyperscale clients throughout the United States. Responsibilities Support the Senior Project Manager in tracking and maintaining lease-defined contractual dates (EFA/FA/RFS), associated penalties, grace periods, and power delivery and ramp dates, flagging risk to those dates as it emerges. Maintain the open items log following lease execution, coordinating with internal teams and developer contacts to track items to resolution ahead of on-site team mobilization. Support maintenance of the inherited risk register, updating status, documenting mitigation actions, and escalating emerging risks to the Senior Project Manager. Assist with digesting lease overviews, work letters, and associated contractual documents into construction-ready summaries, under the direction of the Senior Project Manager. Coordinate and document design review meetings, tracking open design items and action owners to closure. Support cost and schedule administration, including maintaining baseline budget and schedule trackers, logging change orders, and preparing variance reporting for review. Help set up and maintain project governance tools, including communication channels (e.g., Slack), meeting cadences, and documentation standards. Prepare draft status reports and supporting materials for executive-level reporting, for review and finalization by the Senior Project Manager. Support the development and upkeep of standardized launch and handoff artifacts (trackers, checklists, memos) across the program. Coordinate logistics for project launch meetings and recurring stakeholder meetings, including scheduling, agendas, and meeting minutes. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
