Calibration Technician

Job Title: Calibration TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Calibration Technician is responsible for calibrating and testing equipment returned from customers. This equipment includes meters (multimeters) and occasionally torque wrenches. The role requires an understanding of how to calibrate 'PMEL' and knowledge of high and low levels of AC/DC. Calibration technologists and technicians inspect, adjust, and test measurement devices against standards. Knowledge of metrology calibration is essential for this role.Responsibilities

Calibrate and test equipment returned from customers, including meters (multimeters) and torque wrenches.

Understand and perform 'PMEL' calibrations.

Inspect, adjust, and test measurement devices against standards.

Apply knowledge of high and low levels of AC/DC during calibration processes.

Utilize metrology calibration knowledge in daily tasks.

Essential Skills

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows, Outlook, MS Excel, and basic understanding of networking.

Experience with multimeters (any style).

Prior knowledge of electrical aspects (voltage, shock hazards, etc.).

2-3 years of experience with calibration (any field).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge in production, general labor, general production.

Experience with micrometers.

Shipping skills and understanding.
