Construction LaborerJob DescriptionYou will be working at TSMC, primarily moving heavy machinery and performing general labor. This role involves using miscellaneous rigging equipment to install semiconductor process tools and metal support structures in a clean room environment that must maintain cleanliness standards exceeding those of a hospital operating room. Responsibilities include transporting delicate equipment within an operational clean room with extremely tight clearances while adhering to all OSHA and customer safety standards. Additional duties include disassembling tools in the fabrication area and working on the dock, which can be hot in the summer. Equipment will be unloaded, uncrated, and moved into dedicated wipe-down areas for installation in the clean room factory.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona.Work EnvironmentTSMC is a new construction site where you must be comfortable working outdoors in the heat. The site is currently all dirt with no paved roadways. You will be moving equipment into the building, which will provide cover but no air conditioning. The job involves walking an average of 25,000 steps per day, equating to over 11 miles. The shifts are 60 hours per week, with workdays typically lasting 10-12 hours, sometimes extending to 13-14 hours depending on project delays. Work hours are from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Saturday, with every third Saturday off. Must have steel toe boots and bring a 10" adjustable crescent wrench and a minimum 16-foot tape measure on the first day on-site.
