Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced CSA Estimator to provide Civil / Structural / Architectural estimates and cost consulting and meet client objectives through the delivery of an effective construction cost management service for our key clients. The ideal candidate is a construction professional who specializes in Civil, Structural and Architectural (‘Core and Shell’) Estimating. Responsibilities: Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan. Ability to estimate at a conceptual, programming, and detailed level. Assist in feasibility studies and writing procurement reports. Perform all aspects of procurement, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing bid list, bid analysis, producing bid report, and compiling contractual documents. Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable refer major changes to line manager. Manage cost checks and carry out valuations on larger projects and ensure timely and accurate cost checking and valuation processes. Produce monthly post contract cost reports and present them to clients. Provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts. Maintain liaison with clients and other consultants at all projects stages. Provide leadership to the cost management team, when necessary, to ensure delivery on all accountabilities. Identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and report such opportunities to appropriate line managers and utilize the marketing database. Identify improvements for cost management procedures, templates, and products, and refer ideas to appropriate line managers. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
