Engineering Support Specialist II - DV ET RLC

Work with an Engineer / Technician team to facilitate the build / modify / repair Red Label Avionics Products / LRU’s in the DV Red Label Cell. The focus of this role is to work with Engineering COE’s to review the manufacturing Instructions, assist with technical details, create production orders for red-label modifications, support conformity paperwork and sign-off, assist with red-label testing and test witnessing, and more. This is a Support Specialist role as it encompasses three primary areas of focus for RLC

SAP experienced for processing all the “paperwork” required for conformed units coming into RLC. Able to read and provide feedback on MI’s. Create production orders for RLC work.

Create Conformity Packets and work with DER on sign-off.

Hold a Quality Stamp for Test Witnessing and sign-off on conformities for Test Witnessing. Assist with red-label testing for applicable products (such as some of the Anthem red-label LRU’s)

Candidates should possess the following skills / familiarity:

Understanding (or quickly learn) conformity process

Able to read and understand electrical schematics and prints

Able to read and understand mechanical schematics and prints

Experience working on red-label products

Experience with electronic troubleshooting and repair

Work directly with engineering with build recommendations and offer problem solving solutions

Familiar with IPC standards and/or IPC certified

Experience with SAP, production orders, QN’s

Computer savvy

High school diploma or equivalent

5 years experience in Engineering environment

SharePoint, HTML, CSS, Confluence

Good understanding of the technology
