Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician IJob DescriptionThe Fire Alarm Technician I installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and configures various types of fire alarm systems. Responds to customer service calls in a timely and efficient manner, troubleshoots and repairs as needed. Assists on installation projects during non-utilized time. Adhere to and participate in all company quality, safety standards, and regulations. Troubleshoot and repair/replace system wiring, field devices, and head end components. Use necessary tools such as red-lined drawings, manufacturer system schematics/manuals, digital or analog multimeter, toner/wand, system computers, and/or company-provided notebook computer. Provide exceptional workmanship in terms of organization, detail, neatness, and quality.Hard Skills

Troubleshooting and repair/replacement of system wiring

Field devices and head end components

Interpret blueprints and other service documents

Commercial Installation Experience

VESDA Install, Troubleshoot, Repair

Fire Alarm Installation Experience

Pulling and device trim of Field Fire Alarm devices

NICET Certification or CSA beneficial

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona.Work EnvironmentLive construction site (4 walls built, no AC). Lots of walking (techs should invest in comfortable insoles for their steel toes). Heavy lifting. Heights 30'+ on lifts. Water on site should be provided but techs should come prepared with a cooler in their vehicle full of water.
