What you’re responsible for:Conducting thorough inspections and diagnostics on various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, loaders, and cranes, to identify mechanical issues.Performing repairs and routine maintenance on equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery.Maintaining necessary parts, tools, and supplies to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.Maintaining detailed records of repairs, maintenance work, and parts used. Completing service reports and ensuring accurate documentation.Adhering to safety regulations and protocols while working on equipment. Follow company policies to ensure a safe working environment.Working closely with other mechanics, operators, and supervisors to resolve equipment issues and support overall team objectives.
