Key Responsibilities:Manage a full caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolutionConduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responsesTake and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnessesAttend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials (virtually or in person, as needed)Analyze complex legal and factual issues and develop case strategiesCommunicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counselNegotiate settlements and provide recommendations for case resolutionMaintain accurate case records and billing in accordance with firm/client guidelines
