Description We are in the process of recruiting a Junior In-House Contracts / Employment Law Counsel for our client's team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role primarily involves working closely with the General Counsel and the legal support staff team. As the Junior In-House Counsel, you will be instrumental in handling contract drafting, review and negotiation and employment law matters and learning from the GC and Senior Counsel to develop your career as an attorney.Responsibilities: Collaborate with the General Counsel and legal team to handle contract and employment law matters Use legal software to streamline processes and maintain efficient workflows Conduct audits to ensure compliance with law regulations Manage claim administration and ensure accurate documentation of all legal proceedings Draft contracts and legal documents using Adobe Acrobat and other tools Utilize HRMS and the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for managing legal records Leverage your skills in 3M and other software platforms to handle legal tasks efficiently Assist in maintaining accurate customer credit records Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiencyRequirements The candidate must hold a minimum of 1+ years of experience as a licensed attorney (may be licensed in AZ or another State and waiving in as Registered In-House Counsel). Proficiency in using 3M, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is required. Experience with HRMS and Legal software is essential. The candidate should have a strong background in Auditing. Experience in Claim Administration is necessary. The candidate must possess excellent Documentation skills. The ability to Draft Contracts effectively is a must.
