Required Skills and Background: 10+ years' experience with overall engine function, w/ 5+ years' experience in engine cold section (Fan and Compressor). 5+ years' demonstrating knowledge of design criteria, practices, and guidelines for engine cold section, with a focus on mechanical and structural requirements. 5+ years' experience demonstrating familiarity with regulatory agency criteria and guidelines, including military and FAA standards related to engine cold section. 3+ years' experience demonstrating ability to lead Fan and Compressor team and collaborate with other functional groups, SMEs, and Chiefs to develop new design .criteria and guidelines based on emerging requirements. 5+ years experience demonstrating ability to perform structural and mechanical analyses of components and sub-assemblies as well as various trade-off studies between existing & new criteria. 3+ years' experience demonstrating familiarity with testing, validation and verification of Fans and compressors. 3+ years' experience demonstrating customer facing support (communication, presentation experience,etc.)
