JOB TITLE: Lead System Test Engineer - Avionics Network

ABOUT THE JOB:
This position is a Lead Engineer for Aircraft Data Network system verification and robustness testing. The person selected will be responsible for leading the development of an overall network test strategy and implement that strategy to verify that the entire avionics network meets the requirements of functionality, robustness, and reliability. The person selected will be responsible to design, establish, and maintain network lab and tooling infrastructure to ensure coverage and repeatability. They will also be responsible for test data analysis, reporting, and configuration management. Additional tasks include project coordination and status reporting.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 6+ years System Engineering experience
• 2+ years experience in system verification and lab testing
• 2+ years Real Time Network design, integration, and test
• Wide degree of creativity and latitude
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, and do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional design teams including Systems, Software, Hardware, and Test
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Exceptional technical writing and communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with ARINC 664 and SAE AS6802 (Time-Triggered Ethernet)
• Experience with system development lifecycle guided by FAA/EASA requirements and ARP-4754A
• Experience with Agile development processes
• Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, and network data analysis test software
