As a Lead Systems Engineer - Integrated Avionics here at Honeywell, you will be a key contributor to our cutting-edge avionics technology initiatives. With at least 10 years of experience in the field, you will bring much expertise to the role. You will play a vital role in designing, developing, and optimizing integrated avionics systems that are crucial to our aircraft solutions. Your technical expertise and leadership will drive innovation and excellence within the Honeywell portfolio. You will report directly to the Director of Engineering, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the performance and reliability of our integrated avionics systems, ensuring they operate seamlessly and optimally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into avionics system design parameters. Your work will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art avionics solutions that enhance the safety, efficiency, and performance of aircraft. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the design, development, and optimization of integrated avionics systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into avionics system design parameters.

Review and approve design work, ensuring it aligns with project goals and quality standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to avionics system performance and functionality.

Participate in research and development efforts to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Generate technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on integrated avionics.

Proficiency in avionics system design and simulation tools.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in leading cross-functional teams in avionics system development projects.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for avionics systems.
