Description:Work at a Steel Foundry in Tempe, and a couple other manufacturing sites in Phenix Metro on a shut down doing various tasksInstalling equipment in a manufacturing environment for a client of theirs who does Aluminum Extrusion manufacturing of door frames and similar products.Install 3 Extrusion pressesInstall an ovenCould do some field structural welding (stick welds) for steel structures such as catwalks, steel beams, support structures, etc.Read shop drawingsLayout for hole drilling, material cutting and parts fabrication.Use Oxy-Acetylene cutting torch.Use of angle grinders, drill press, steel saws, and steel related power tools.Measure layout and Tack weld parts in place to match the shop drawings.Variety of tasks including some concrete workSome Weld assembly together using SMAW and FCAW welding process.Clean steel and apply shop primer paint.Put parts together, tack weld, take parts apart and grease them.Do layouts and drill holesare looking for welder/steel workers who have reliable transportation are able work at multiple job sites in the Phoenix Metro area. They might also work in the shop at times but most of our work in field work.Welding certifications are a plus but not a hard requirement.Field Work involvesMillwright work on equipment including conveyors.Sand blow pipe repairs, replacement.Installing industrial equipment.Metal Building sheeting and trim work at industrial environments.Installing/erecting structural steel at existing industrial sites.Changing filters in dirty industrial environments.Help with concrete crew as need at times.General steel labor.Be willing to learn and work OT as needed.Shop work involvesWorking from steel shop drawings to layout, fit and fabricate structural and miscellaneous steel.Torch cutting, grinding, punching, and drilling steel materials.Welding structural and miscellaneous steel.Clean, primer and paint structural steel materials.Be willing to learn and work OT as needed.Skills:Installation, millwright, equipment, Troubleshooting, Industrial, Repair, Stick welding, structural welding, weld, industrial, Stick weld, stick welding, drill, bolts, anchor bolts, steel, structural steel, pipe, supports, brackets, handrails, catwalks, erector, erection, construction, Blueprint, Mechanical, WeldingTop Skills Details:Installation,millwright,equipment,Troubleshooting,Industrial,Repair,Stick welding,structural weldingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:2+ years of Millwright/Structural welding experience installing and assembling machinery and equipment in an industrial manufacturing environmentRead blue prints, drawingsExperience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
